Intentions & Reflections

New new New!!! Here we are, in New Mexico, in a New month (September) starting a New chapter in our journey of life! Almost 5 months of living in the van together! We've been "on the road again" for over a week now, and we are so excited to be pursuing our destinies full force again.

Our intentions and goals this time around have changed drastically. I'm not sure we really had major intentions when we left back in April, we just knew we had to listen to our intuition telling us it was time to go. We also discussed on occasion that we wanted to meet people who were a lot like us, so you might say that- along with exploring- was our original intention, and you could also very much say that our intention was abundantly fulfilled.

I'm going to get into what exactly our beautiful intentions are right now, I promise. But first, a little reflection. When 2021 rolled through, and Jenna and I agreed to do this together, there was no grasping exactly what we were getting ourselves into. Yeah, Jenna and I have known each other since 5th grade, but we really didn't know each other at all. I mean how could we? We were barely scratching the surface of knowing ourselves.

I grew up with 4 brothers. I rarely had to share anything. I always had my own room, done exactly how I liked it, while at some points, all 4 of my brothers were sleeping between the same 4 walls. I was a total princess, I admit it proudly. So the thought of living with another girl was something that once scared the absolute shit out of me. But for some reason that was never the case when thinking about moving into the van with Jenna. It seemed like so much fun, like a big road trip sleepover, and I just knew it would be so good with her. My intuition told me so.

The challenges are so real though, and I wouldn't have it any other way. When we started living in the van, we entered into this agreement, into this crazy relationship where we basically spend 24 hours 7 days a week together, sleep together, eat together, everything. It's the coolest. I often call her my partner, even though we aren't girlfriends, because we aren't really best friends either. We are mirrors to each other. The Universe has been conspiring to bring us together for so long. For those of you who like astrology- Jenna and I have the same exact astrological charts, except for our sun and Venus signs! When introducing ourselves to new people we are often met with puzzled looks and something along the lines of "wait- you guys are like twins, but not at the same time." I can imagine that there are people out there who can't even spend 24 hours with themselves, let alone with another version of themselves. All of our shadows are revealed in this relationship, in this van. I mean, you've seen the big windows that go all the way around the van right? The light shines everywhere. And it gets uncomfortable sometimes, when there's no shade to go and hide under. But it's worth it. Because the growth is so accelerated, and so valuable. The key to it all is making the choice to sit in a place of love always, no matter what feelings arise.

With all of this new wisdom and understanding of the power that lies within us, we are headed towards (already in) the most exciting adventure. We are living with so much intent. We are dedicated to a life of growth and love. We are heading towards the light at full force, releasing anything that attempts to hold us back. Like the first time, we have no exact plans or timelines for our travels. The only true plan is to follow our intuition wherever it guides us. Our intentions at this point in our lives are to learn and grow. We are becoming the best versions of ourselves, and discovering our medicine- the beautiful gifts within ourselves that we can share with others, our way of living in harmony with all that is.

And so, New Mexico for now. You'll see us in Arizona soon enough, when the wind starts blowing in that direction. The opportunities are flowing to us, and we are discovering our paths rapidly.
